You Am I have revealed details of their 10th studio album, Porridge & Hotsauce, and have announced a big ol’ Australian tour to celebrate the news.
Led by first taste ‘Good Advices’, which you can stream above, the band’s 10th studio album was recorded in Bushwick, New York City and will be available from Friday 6 November through the band’s own YOU AM I Records.
Explaining ‘Good Advices’, frontman Tim Rogers says the song “is about throwing away the script and clinging to your imagination as the only guide. We’ve trusted our wits so far, and if it got us here, this hopped-up and rarin’ to go, our wits done good.”
The Bargain Bin Bon Vivants tour will see You Am I taking their renowned live show all around the country through October, November and December, giving fans the chance to witness the new songs alongside classics from the band’s extensive back catalogue.
