Watch Violent Soho Thrash Out A Surprising Cover For ‘Like A Version’

It was pretty unbelievable to learn that Violent Soho – within their long-standing and legendary career – had never thrown down a cover for triple j’s prestigious ‘Like A Version’.

This morning, Soho entered the studios to dust off a band favourite – Silversun Pickups shoegazey classic ‘Lazy Eye’, from their debut album Carnavas in 2006. A truly stunning, super tight and shred-fest performance from by the Mansfield boys, who actually trolled listeners for the first 10 seconds with a Nirvana – ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ riff.

As well as crafting their own beer, Soho will shortly embark on a huge Aussie tour – playing their biggest venues to date. This time, they’ve invited American hardcore punk band The Bronx to our shores, as well as Aussie punk scene’s finest outfits Luca Brasi and Tired Lion to support. Tix are shifting quickly.
