Violent Soho Created A Beer Because Violent Soho

Since 2013, the love affair between Mansfield boys, Violent Soho and Byron Bay craft beer brewers, Stone & Wood has truly blossomed. It began as an unintentional product placement and lead to partners in taste and booze.

Now, the band and the brewers have together, crafted ‘The East Coast Crusher’ – a Pilot Batch which means the experimental collaborative brew is rare, limited and Soho certified. The East Coaster Crusher is an Aussie unfiltered Kolsch that’s been dry hopped with Ella and Victoria’s Secret which delivers a punchy floral hit followed by a refreshing bitterness.

“People get to do collaborations with companies all the time but very rarely do you get to collaborate with the best in the industry. We feel like the luckiest dudes in the world that we got to hand craft our own beer with Stone & Wood in the Byron Bay Brewery. We cannot wait for everybody to try our East Coast Crusher,” said Soho on the collab.

To celebrate, the band will share the beer at series of launch parties in major city on Thursday October 13 for an exclusive taste. A limited number of cartons of East Coast Crusher will be available later in the month on the Stone & Wood website. Sign up to the Violent Soho newsletter at by October 16 to get exclusive first access to the beer.

Following the keg parties, this time next month, the Brissy legends will embark on their biggest national tour to date, inviting American hardcore punk band The Bronx to our shores and enlisting Aussie punk scene’s finest outfits Luca Brasi and Tired Lion to support. All of the beers, please.
