Following the crazy 2016 ascent of Vera Blue, the electro-alt-pop multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter has announced a national Private Tour, this April.
The elements contributing to the graceful rise include the release of Blue’s stunning debut EP Fingertips last year, featuring on Illy’s ARIA topping single ‘Papercuts‘ and selling out two national tours, amongst huge festival appearances and international support slots.
Now, the new slew of shows coincide with the release of Blue’s brand new single ‘Private’, the first cut from a forthcoming debut record. It’s a grittier electronic track exposing an edgier, angrier side to Vera Blue as she explores “that fantasy of wanting someone you can’t have.”
“There’s all sorts of stuff coming on the album but for this song in particular for what the song’s about, it’s quite aggressive and a bit angry, so I think the more electronic vibe was very suitable for what the song is about,” explains Blue, whose flawless vocals are as tight as ever.
Tickets are on sale now and it’s no secret that they will shift very, very quickly.
