From the creators that brought you the chaos that was RNB Fridays Live… comes the first ever RNB Vine Days – a series of special winery shows across regional Australia kicking off in February next year.
In true RNB throwback fashion – the concert series invites the biggest and baddest legends in contemporary RNB. Co-headlining the epic days will be ultimate power duo TLC and one of the most iconic RNB groups Boyz II Men, as well as sets from Jamaican-American dancehall maestro and legendary-denier Shaggy, alongside DJ Horizon and YO! MAFIA.
For the last 25 years, Boyz II Men have filled d-floors all over the world over with their soulful multi-octave sound and incredible vocals from mega hits like ‘End Of The Road’, ‘I’ll Make Love To You’ and ‘One Sweet Day (feat. Mariah Carey)’ plus sultry bangers from recent release Under The Streetlight like ‘Ladies Man’ and ‘Stay’.
Following the release of their first album in 15 years in June and their lead saught-after spot on RNB Fridays Live 2016 – TLC have delivered hits ‘Haters’ and ‘Way Back (feat. Snoop Dogg)’ that follow the same CrazySexyCool style of anthems ‘No Scrubs’, ‘Waterfalls’ and ‘Unpretty’.
And Shaggy will complete the day with his trademark baritone and reggae revival and that special knack for strong story-telling. Think ‘Mr Boombastic’, ‘It Wasn’t Me (feat. Rikork)’, ‘Angel (feat. Rayvon)’ and ‘Hey Sexy Lady (feat. Brian & Tony Gold)’ IRL in February.
The concert series will showcase Australia’s stunning wine regions at a day on the green venues including the Hunter Valley’s Bimbadgen, Mt Cotton’s Sirromet Wines and the Yarra Valley’s Rochford Wines. Pre-sale tickets via Frontier Touring on sale Wednesday, 22 November. All tickets on sale Friday, 24 November.
Ensuring all fans can get their RNB fix, TLC and Boyz II Men will also perform three indoor co-headline shows in Christchurch, Sydney and Canberra, while Boyz II Men will also treat Auckland fans to a one-off headline show. Pre-sale tickets on sale Wednesday, 22 November before general release on Friday, 24 November.
