Just over a week ago, we announced the return of Aussie legends, The Saints, who’ll throw down three intimate Melbourne shows in exactly a month. For the first time a long time, the original line-up will make the trip including, Chris Bailey, alongside The Saints’ alumni drummer Iain Shedden, joined by Pat Bourke on bass and Davey Lane on guitar.
Supports have now been set in concrete and it’s a hard yes from us. Andy Kentler will kick things off on Wednesday night, you can listen to No Love Lost via Kentler’s Bandcamp. Slack-rockers and Melbourne’s newest supergroup of sorts, Terry, will support Thursday’s show. Made up of members from UV Race, Dick Diver and Total Control, the collective have released two EPs, which include tracks ‘Don’t Say Sorry’ and ‘Third War’.
Mike Noga (former drummer in The Drones), will provide a mix of blues and psychedelia for pre-game on Friday night. You can listen to his third record and concept album KING here.
All-star supports, and all sold out. Hope you got a ticket. :/
