Huge news. The Saints will perform three intimate Melbourne shows at The Gaso, this October, which will see the return of Chris Bailey, alongside The Saints’ alumni drummer Iain Shedden, joined by Pat Bourke on bass and Davey Lane on guitar.
Backdating to 1976, the Brisbane band have a monster catalogue of classics to crank out; they’ve released thirteen studio albums, seventeen singles, six EPs, two live albums and ten compilation albums. Known for their legendary live performances, and described as ‘anarchic and violent’ by Nick Cave.
“They were kind of god-like to me and my colleagues. They were just always so much better than everybody else. It was extraordinary to go and see a band that was so anarchic and violent,” said Cave.
