As Promised, The Jezabels Are Returning To The Stage

The Jezabels have announced they’re returning to the stage this October to adequately celebrate and share their third stunning record, SYNTHIA, released earlier this year. It’s extremely positive news following the tour postponement in January due to the health of keyboardist Heather Shannon.

“We are so thrilled to be announcing this new tour after the heartbreak of cancelling our tour earlier this year. Heather is feeling strong again after her treatment and we are all impassioned and eager to finally give SYNTHIA the tour she deserves. We were so touched by the outpouring of support toward us over the course of this year, we cannot think of any better way to show our gratitude than bringing SYNTHIA out on the road. We cannot wait to introduce her to you all, to see your beautiful faces and to celebrate the end of this unique and challenging year. It’s going to be smashing!” said the band.

Since 2009, the Aussie public has been captivated by The Jezabels from their debut EPs – The Man Is Dead, to She’s So Hard and Dark Storm, it’s been a beautiful progression to the release of SYNTHIA. Written and recorded with long-time producer Lachlan Mitchell, SYNTHIA debuted at number four on the ARIA Album charts in February 2016.

The Jezabels have invited Melbourne singer/songwriter Ali Barter along for the trip, who’s best known for her silky beats including ‘Far Away’ and ‘Hypercolour’.

Pre-sale begins Monday 18 July (1pm AEST) and ends Tuesday 19 July (1pm AEST). General public goes on sale Wednesday 20 July (12noon local time).
