Scottish five-piece and masters of alt rock/pop, Teenage Fanclub, will return to Australia to throw down two headline shows in Brisbane and Melbourne.
The dates coincide with collective’s appearance at the already announced and spiritual congregation that is, Golden Plains festival, plus a Sydney date at Taronga Zoo.
Three decades of peerless songwriting and almost telepathic musicianship between founding members Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley and Gerard Love, plus drummer Francis MacDonald and keyboard player Dave McGowan, means the band’s tenth studio album, Here, was a six-year wait but the band’s most ambitious and accomplished to date. Their single ‘I’m In Love’ reached all new heights.
Joining Teenage Fanclub at their Brisbane and Sydney shows is Aussie indie-pop three-piece (and creators of one of the best band names) The Goon Sax. The trio released their killer debut album Up To Anything earlier this year and have dropped a couple of visual vibes too.
