UPDATE: Sensory restaurant is fully booked out!
Melbourne music and art festival Sugar Mountain hits the Victorian College of the Arts on Saturday 23 January, and organisers have just released playing times and a site map for the event. And with Hot Chip, Dirty Three and Courtney Barnett all playing the main stage, there’s no clash between the festival’s headliners.
The Creators Project have also given punters a taste of what they can expect from NONOTAK’s Hoshi installation, commissioned especially for Sugar Mountain, via an intriguing trailer. The Paris-based design duo return to Sugar Mountain with two exclusive works; Hoshi is the larger of the two, which uses large-scale mirrors and light to create a fully immersive ‘infinite box’. Check the video below.
Sugar Mountain is on its final ticket release, with less than 800 tickets remaining for the event. There are less than 90 spots left for Sensory, the immersive dining experience created exclusively for the festival by Bomba, Tin & Ed and Cut Copy.
