Stonefield have today announced a fresh string of east coast dates ahead of the release of their hugely anticipated sophomore record, now titled As Above, So Below – out July 15.
Hitting the road in early July, Melbourne’s favourite fiery sisters will give fans in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne a chance to hear brand new material from their unreleased second album.
As Above, So Below is slated to be a musical coming-of-age of sorts. Bursting with fierce guitar riffs and swirling vocals, the record is a culmination of hours spent writing in their spiritual home of “The Shed”, (they converted their parents’ entire house into a studio) as well as work alongside Kram of Spiderbait.
There will be at least one familiar new jam – current single ‘Stranger’, as well as a bevy of certified tunes featured from their debut self-titled album back in 2013.
From tearing down dingy Australian country pubs to performing on some of the world’s biggest stages, including a recent successful stint at SXSW, the Findlay sisters have returned to melt some faces this July.
Joining the tour will be Verge Collection & Pop Cult. Tickets to all shows are on sale now.
