Seventeen dates to be exact. From Phillip Island to the Sunshine Coast and wrapping it up in Perth, Stonefield are hitting the the road Spring. The tour sees the psych-rock sister sharing and celebrating the release of As Above, So Below, the 10-track juggernaut of a record highlighting a delicate yet bold display of the band’s musical maturity, which effortlessly combines kaleidoscopic guitar riffs, swirling melodies and hallucinogenic vocals.
Since throwing down some powerhouse performances in the last six months, including a huge stint of headline US shows, a successful run at Austin’s SXSW festival and then returning home to launch their sophomore album via a small series of east cost shows – they girls have truly perfected their craft, stage energy and presence.
Joining Stonefield will be experimental-pop-rock group RACKETT, whose debut single BATS was released in July and White Bleaches, the four-piece garage-psych band who have supported the likes of Twin Peaks, Green Buzzard and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
