
Melbourne’s iconic Royal Botanic Gardens is the newest home and amphitheatre to stage a debut concert event kicking-off next year – A WEEKEND In The Gardens.
Initiated by the legends behind A Day On The Green wine series, the three-day concert will take place on the March long weekend (Friday, March 10th – Sunday, March 12th).
Set in the utopian surrounds of the gardens, the exclusively Aussie line-up will cater to all demos and live music lovers.
There’s straight up royalty will kick-off the concert series when John Farnham headlines Friday night, joined by Daryl Braithwaite and Ross Wilson. Too many legends on one stage.
On Saturday night, beloved indie-rock, 6-piece, Boy & Bear, supported by WA pop collective San Cisco and rising singer/songwriter Amy Shark. While Sunday night will celebrate the legendary Aussie-rock group, ICEHOUSE, and their epic 40th anniversary with acclaimed singer/songwriters James Reyne and Clare Bowditch for support.
In addition to a platter of incredible musical talent, ‘The Eatery’ will serve up high quality food and drink stalls in a chilled out, vibrant space. Offerings include Ladro, Burn City Smokers, The Royale Brothers, Pommery Champage & Oyster Bar. To top it off, Jardin Tan’s VIP Canapes package will be available directly behind the concert area.
