Any angst-fueled teenager in the early naughties would be familiar with the opening lines of ‘Welcome To My Life’, and now is your chance to scream them like you care again when Simple Plan return to the east coast in September. The Canadian rockers have announced three dates hitting up Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, bringing the old bangers and the new tracks too.
SP have seen countless hits over the years, and have recently dropped their fifth studio album, Taking One For The Team. The album debuted in the Top 20 in five countries across the globe including Australia, and its singles ‘Singing In The Rain’, ‘Boom!’ and ‘I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed (Ft. Nelly)’ have each gathered more than two million YouTube views.
Opening up the shows will be Sydney-based pop punk four-piece Forever Ends Here, who’ve been touring around on the underground scene for a couple of years now, a perfect support for SP.
