The Shins Lock-In Aussie East Coast Tour

American indie greats The Shins are flying across this December to bring their quirky cool rock to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Since forming over twenty years ago, The Shins have released five distinctive albums, leading the way with their experimental indie rock goodness. Their latest offering Heartworms, released earlier this year, features 11 tracks in an eclectic melting pot of rock, folk, country and retro pop influences. Lead single ‘Name For You‘ is a jangly upbeat tune about female empowerment inspired by singer James Mercer’s three daughters.

The Shins are sure to draw on their collection of classics on tour too, including sweet acoustic track ‘New Slang‘, punchy ear-worm ‘Australia‘ and kaleidoscope of sounds ‘Simple Song‘. These legends of the indie scene are still as energetic as ever, don’t miss out on these fun nights!

The Shins are playing Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on December 4, Brisbane’s QPAC Concert Hall on December 5 and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on December 8. Nab some tickets here.
