Beloved UK singer-songwriter Sam Smith has confirmed he’ll return to Australia for a v-exclusive show at the iconic Sydney Opera House Tuesday, 16 January 2018.
Following from Smith’s last arena tour of Aus, the intimate show will be the first opportunity for fans in the world to hear tracks from Smith’s wildly-awaited second album The Thrill of It All (out November 3) come to lyf on stage.
‘Too Good At Goodbyes‘ is the first cut of new music – a stirring ballad and signature class of pop that is accompanied by an equally emotive video. Written with long-standing collaborator Jimmy Napes and Stargate, ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ is the first sound from Smith since his Oscar and Golden Globe winning Spectre theme ‘Writing’s On The Wall‘ in 2015. The sophomore album is set to be a powerful and emotional new chapter for the artist with collaborations from Timbaland, Malay and Jason ‘Poo Bear’ Boyd, as well as unsigned artist YEBBA for their track ‘No Peace’. These shows are going to magical.
Frontier Touring pre-sale begins Thursday, 12 October (12noon AEDT). General public tickets go on sale Monday 16 October (12noon AEDT).
