Rolling Blackouts Release New Song + Word Of New EP

Following an explosive live set at Melbourne’s Sugar Mountain Festival over the weekend, local legends Rolling Blackout Coastal Fever have continued to deliver the face sweats.

Today, the indie-rock collective announced the official release date of their v-anticipated forthcoming EP, The French Press, out March 10.
The 6-tracker will feature the previously unleashed track ‘Julie’s Place‘ and today’s brand newie – ‘French Press‘. A ripping single, simmering from delicate guitars into the tightest shredfest and lyrically charged by a Skype call between two “disconnected” brothers – one having a real time OS and the other sitting at home in a temperature-controlled office. Storytellers to the bone.

To celebrate, RBCF will share The French Press by spearheading a huge national tour in April/May. The shows will follow the band’s debut showcase at SXSW and support slot with US indie-pop group Tennis. To hear unreleased music, RBCF are also supporting Chicago indie-rock collective, Whitney, in Melbourne and Sydney surrounding their Laneway Festival debuts. Tix shifting fast.
