Rick Ross Announces First Ever Tour Of Aus + NZ

Dust off that Green Gucci Suit – Rick Ross has just announced his first ever tour of Australian and New Zealand. One of rap’s biggest names, Ross will be hitting up Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland this September.

Currently working on studio album number 10, Port of Miami 2, Ross first burst onto the scene in 2006 with breakthrough single ‘‘Hustlin’. He has since been dropping new albums at a prolific rate of roughly every two years. 2010’s Teflon Don earned him huge props, featuring massive tracks Aston Martin Music (feat. Drake and Chrisette Michelle)’ and ‘B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast) (feat. Styles P)’. His back catalogue boasts collabs with some of hip hops biggest names, Teflon Don featuring the likes of  Jay-Z, CeeLo Green, T.I., Erykah Badu, Ne-Yo and Diddy. He has similarly lent his vocals on tracks for Kanye West, DJ Khaled’s and Pusha T, as well as working with Skrillex on Purple Lamborghini’ from the Suicide Squad soundtrack.

Keeping secretive on Port of Miami 2’s release date,  Ross has dropped two tasters from the new album since the start of 2018. He pays homage to his home state on ‘Florida Boy (feat. T-Pain and Kodak Black)’ and immortalises the golden age of hip hop in ‘Green Gucci Suit (feat. Future)’. We can expect the album to be released via Ross’ very own record label Maybach Music Group, founded in 2009.

His debut Australian performances, these shows will be the first time ever Ross has played to Australian fans on our soil. Frontier member’s pre-sale kicks off on Monday 2 July, with general sale opening Thursday 5 July. Sign up here to nab tickets.
