Radnor & Lee Make Their Australian Debut This May

Few could have ever envisioned that Radnor & Lee the quirky and unexpected duo would be paired together and on their way down under.

The two announce their first ever Australian tour performing three shows along the east coast, backed by a year of consistent songwriting. This “weird little experiment” formed by How I Met Your Mother’s Josh Radnor and ARIA Award winning Sydney singer-songwriter Ben Lee – has become an acoustic art-form.

Ben Lee, also known as the chief songwriter in 90s alt-rock group Noise Addict, has in his time made a stand in the Australian music industry. Launching his solo career with one of his most celebrated tunes, ‘Cigarettes Will Kill You’, Ben Lee’s enduring solo career spans more than two decades, boasting tracks like ‘We’re All In This Together’ and ‘Catch My Disease’.

Partnering perfectly with Radnor who despite having his hands full with starring in, writing and directing films, has after nine years as a star for How I Met Your Mother, decides that creating music was the natural next step in his career. With no real traditional music experience, Lee guides them through the way to creating soothing sounds.

The record found surprising resonance in Brazil, where Radnor & Lee performed a completely sold-out tour in January across five cities, including Rio de Janeiro – suss the throwback here. The brilliant and bubbly duo is nothing but ready to take on the next challenge.

This unanticipated match hasn’t been around for long, but already they’re enthusiasm and hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed. The pair is bringing nothing but simultaneously witty, meditative, hopeful and triumphant tunes.

Frontier pre-sale begins Monday, 9 April. General public tickets go on sale Wednesday, 11 April.
