Following Playboi Carti‘s recent tour cancellation last month, the experimental rapper and Atlanta prodigy has confirmed the rescheduled dates of his debut tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The new dates will take place throughout May and June 2018, with the Brisbane venue moving to Eatons Hill Ballroom to allow for an all-ages show, and all other venues remaining the same.
Since breaking out in 2015 with ‘Broke Boi‘, the now 22-year-old has released his self-titled 2017 debut mixtape – which debuted at #12 on the Billboard 200 charts and within a month of its release, standout heat track ‘Magnolia’ went viral, amassing over 63 million streams on Spotify (currently stands at 168 million.) Featuring Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert (also touring Aus + NZ for the v-first time in February), Playboi Carti’s follow-up track “wokeuplikethis*” is sitting nicely with over 102 million Spotify streams.
FYI: All existing ticketholders need not to take action as original purchases are valid for entry at all rescheduled shows. If the new dates are not suitable, rest assured ticketholders will be able to secure a refund.
All tickets are now on sale.
