Finally! Paul Kelly To Play A Christmas Show Dedicated To Making Gravy

Local songwriting legend Paul Kelly has just announced a magical night at the Sydney Myer Music Bowl this December to officially launch Christmas with some traditional gravy making.

How To Make Gravy‘, a five-minute long, epic recipe track with no chorus, set in a jail, may seem like an unlikely Christmas anthem. But when it was penned in 1996 for the charity record The Spirit Of Christmas, it became an instant hit. Since then, December 21st has become, amongst Paul Kelly’s fans, Gravy Day, and last year brought the #putyourgravyout movement along with it.

This year, Sydney band Gang Of Youths, alongside local songstresses Meg Mac and Gretta Ray, are jumping on the Gravy Train. Don’t miss out on this intimate night of spirited performances and sing-along classics.

Frontier Members pre-sale begins Monday 30 October, 12noon AEDT. General public on sale Wednesday 1 November, 10am AEDT.
