Tiny Little Houses have returned with brand new music reminiscent of a 90s teenage-angst soundtrack and it’s pretty scuzzy and a little bit savage – and we love it.
Following the release of ‘Milo Tin‘, ‘SDA’ pushes TLH into a more rough and wilder sonic sphere with heavier percussion and ruckus guitar work, layered with the ever-distinctive top line vocals of lead singer Caleb Karvountzis.
“Song despite apathy’ is a contemplation of faith, fear, sin and death in a world increasingly out of control. It’s about the limitations to human empathy and how frustratingly powerless we are in a system which seems to doom us to repeat the same mistakes both personally and throughout society,” said Karvountzis.
Today, the Melbourne band also announced they will release their sophomore EP, ‘Snow Globe‘, slated for release October 7. If ‘SDA’ is the first taste of new material, then we’ve got big vibes for next installment to drop.
