“Money goes out to all those fake ass people. Users who use those around them; for money, for status, for fame. S/O to fake friends and gold-diggers!” – this one goes out to them according to Anna Of The North.
‘Money’ was recorded in Oslo and mixed in Copenhagen and London by Luke Smith (Foals, Petite Noir, Depeche Mode). It’ll feature on the Norweigian/New Zealand duo’s debut record Lovers set for release next month. The gorgeous alt-pop slice follows a slew of shimmering electronic singles that when combined, will create a coherent album deeply rooted in heartbreak, turmoil, guilt, freedom and joy.
The powerful pop duo of Anna Lotterud and Brady Daniell-Smith met in Melbourne, following Anna’s spontaneous decision to leave her assured life in Oslo behind. In 2014, they introduced us to their minimalist electronic magic with breakthrough single ‘Sway’. Now, the pair will return to Australia for their first ever headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as appearing at the Sunshine Coast’s Maroochy Music & Visual Arts Festival.
