New Zealand singer-songwriter Marlon Williams has confirmed he’ll be bringing his moving indie-folk tunes to our shores this May for a national tour through Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney.
The tour will celebrate Williams’ just announced second album Make Way For Love, which is slated for release on February 16 next year. The album will feature his previously released single and incredibly haunting tune ‘Vampire Again‘.
Today, Williams has also shared a new single ‘Nobody Gets What They Want Anymore‘ – a strong sign of what to expect of the wholly original break-up album. Recorded as a duet with his ex-girlfriend Aldous Harding, this latest offering is a moving and chilling ballad, poignant in its honest lyrics and pure vocal performances.
Make Way For Love is set to include 11 bold and cinematic tracks, growing from Williams’ self-titled debut album, which included singles ‘Dark Child‘ and ‘I’m Lost Without You’. These favourites and never before heard new material is the perfect blend for a series of magical shows.
Frontier members pre sale begins Tuesday 14 November, 12noon AEDT. General public on sale Thursday 16 November, 10am local time.
