Prepare to dance yrself clean because legendary dance-punk icons LCD Soundsystem are bringing the floor to Australia with two unmissable headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne this July.
This tour marks the v anticipated return of the Brooklyn collective to Australia since reuniting last year, and with promises of a new album on the way – these shows are going to redefine LCD as we know it.
Founded by NY DJ and musician James Murphy in 2002, LCD Soundsystem are responsible for alt-dance nuggets including ‘Daft Punk Is Playing At My House’, ‘Dance Yrself Clean’, ‘North American Scum’ and ‘I Can Change.’ Their signature electronic rock toplined with witty lyrics translates into a pulsating live set that is equal parts energising and exhausting.
LCD are locked-in to destroy Sydney’s Horden Pavillion on Monday, 24 July and Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Wednesday, 26 July surrounding their appearance at Byron Bay’s sold out Splendour In The Grass.
