Brooklyn rap protégé and 22-year-old fire cracker Joey Bada$$ has confirmed he’ll perform four headline shows across Aus + NZ this January surrounding his v-anticipated headline set at Melbourne’s Sugar Mountain festival.
Coming in hot from the release of his acclaimed second studio album ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ – he’s cemented himself as a versatile and matured rapper with a politically charged message for America – tracks such as ‘For My People’ and ‘Land of The Free’ see Bada$$ magnifying the nation’s flaws in hopes of prescribing solutions to remedy the issues at hand. The record also features collabs from ScHoolboy Q, Styles P and J.Cole and a list of hip hop anthems have come from it – including ‘Temptation‘ and ‘Devastated‘.
Performing exclusively in Auckland, Brisbane, Perth and Sydney – and alongside Melbourne’s Cut Copy, Chicago R&B artist Jamila Woods and London rapper J Hus at SM18 – Melbourne’s supreme arts and music summit.
