Jeremy Loops Announces Tour To Our Shores Ahead Of New Album

South African singer/songwriter and conservationist Jeremy Loops has announced a 5-date national tour across Australia to celebrate the release of his eagerly anticipated sophomore album Critical As Water.

Set for release on March 16, Critical As Water applies Loops’ warm and joyous songwriting to a love of water with equal parts celebration and concern. Lead single ‘Waves‘ is an infectious summer anthem, written following an incredibly restorative surf. Tracks like ‘The Shore’ on the other hand, speak to the current water crisis in Cape Town, where taps to homes are being turned off in April in what might be the first occurrence of a major city running out of water.

Loops’ sensitive songwriting, relentless touring and strong ethics has garnered him a cult following across Europe and the UK, and now he’s returning to Australia for the first time since his sold out 2016 tour. He’ll be hitting up Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney this May.

Tickets on sale Friday, 2 February, 9am local time.
