From the beach to the pub – James Reyne is the sound of summer. It’s been 40 years since the Aussie ledge started making anthems and he’s about to release a record full of his best bangers – All The Hits – Live. Just in time for summer, just in time for the pub.
The album will feature certified classics from his early years with iconic rock band Australian Crawl as well as songs from his solo career and onwards. His entire career is tightly bundled into two discs, from Australian Crawl’s debut single, ‘Beautiful People’ to his first solo single ‘Fall of Rome’, including songs that we all know and belt such as ‘The Boys Light Up’, ‘Reckless’, ‘Downhearted’, ‘Errol’ and ‘Hammerhead’.
Reyne recorded the album at Perth’s Astor Theatre on a muggy summer’s night which, fittingly, is where Australian Crawl played their last ever show in February 1986. Thirty years on, Reyne is driving a huge national tour hitting up almost 30 venues with Aussie rock band Moving Pictures in for the ride. Click here for all of the tour dates and info. All The Hits – Live will drop, Friday 27 November – it’s going to be like one giant, familiar, warm hug.
