Jack River + Dope Lemon Will Play A New Coastal Festival This Summer

Grow Your Own festival is the newest boutique festival to join the summer circuit this December and it’s like a big bag of oragnic, home-grown treats.

Set in Forster on NSW’s Mid North Coast, seven of the eight band’s are products of the Great Lakes area, really bringing home the outrageous amount of talent coming out of regional Australia. The festival will feature Dope Lemon (Angus Stone’s latest solo project) and our very own Jack River, as well as The RuiinsJake MeadowsJames BennettGalleriLos Scallywags and Vanilla Gorilla.

Set in the backyard of Club Forster, the intimate festival celebrates incredible music, creativity and produce and it’s the brainchild of former Forster local and musician Holly Rankin and the art director of Mambo, Lee McConnell.

“I have always been so excited by the amount of creative talent coming out of my hometown. As well as bands and visual artists, we are seeing local labels finding national success. Along with this, more and more young people are moving to, and visiting the coast seeking a life more connected to farming and produce. Lee and I wanted to create a festival that celebrates all of this and Forster is more than ready for a large scale music event,” said Rankin.

Tickets go on sale September 23, 9am – this one’s going to spesh.
