Green Day Have Announced A Massive Aus/NZ Tour In 2017

Here’s the 21st century breakdown, Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductees and Grammy Award Winners and nostalgic punk legends, Green Day, have announced they will bring their huge ‘Revolution Radio’ tour to Australia and New Zealand in April twenty-seventeen.

Last visiting Australian shores in 2014, Green Day have more than 75 million album sales under their belts and a plethora of fans, young and old, angsty and happy. The return of the iconic American punk-rock band in 2017 will act as their first headline tour since their sell out ’21st Century Breakdown’ tour in 2009.

Coincidentally, the band’s twelfth studio record, Revolution Radio, is out tomorrow (Oct 7), and is produced by Green Day and recorded in Oakland. It’s a 12-track collection of angst-ridden anthems that stay true to the band’s legendary approach to conversational lyrics and complex instrumental structures. You don wanna be an idiot – these shows are not to be missed.

Idiot Nation Members pre-sale begins Oct 11, Frontier Members pre-sale begins Oct 13 and tickets are on sale Oct 18 to the general public.
