In July, Emma Louise announced she would be taking her silky-pop and crisp beats on the road this Spring when she embarks on a huge national tour throughout October and November. It will be the first time the singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist shares music from her wildly-ethereal sophomore album, Supercry – unless you were lucky enough to catch her at Splendour In The Grass this year.
Today, Emma confirms that the main support will come from Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist Fractures, (all shows expect for WA). Fractures, aka Mark Zito, burst onto the scene in 2014 with the release of his debut self-titled EP. Since then he has released two corking singles, ‘Reactor’ and ‘Alchemy’ and featured on Set Mo’s banger, ‘Comfort’.
Emma will also be joined by a bevy of local openers including Gretta Ray whose song ‘Drive’ crowned her this year’s Triple J Unearthed High winner. Ray will open Geelong and the first Melbourne show. Mezko will open in Canberra, Wollongong, Newcastle and Sydney; Lastlings in Gold Coast, Maroochydore and Brisbane; Auguste in Adelaide; Angus Dawson at the Fremantle, Perth and Bunbury shows and Nyck will open the second Melbourne show and final on the tour.
Following the the sell-out of the Saturday, October 8 show at Corner Hotel, Emma has announced a second Melbourne show at the same venue, Friday, November 18, which will perfectly wrap-up Emma’s biggest tour in her new home town.
Second Melbourne show is added below. <3
