Dan Sultan Announces Magnetic Tour + Teases New Music

It’s been almost a year since we’ve seen Aussie rocker Dan Sultan on a stage near us, but this November he’ll be tearing thru Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney celebrating the lead up to his upcoming LP, set for release in twenty-seventeen.

Since thrashing out a cover of ‘Wheels On The Bus‘ on his Play School debut for the show’s 50th anniversary and featuring on the anti-Australia Day anthem ‘January 26th‘ with A.B Orginal, Sultan has been gearing up for the next release ‘Magnetic’. But he’s only dropped a teaser – which seems to be heading in a new soul-pop direction.

“It’s about having too much of a good thing,” Sultan says, explaining the song’s lyrics. “It’s about excess, basically, in all its forms. But it’s also about getting older, and about being more comfortable in my own skin,” says Sultan. The full tune is slated to drop within the month.

Fremantle fans will also be able to catch him perform at Fremantle Festival in November. Joining Sultan on tour will be Caiti Baker, and Morgan Bain, both killer vocalists riding that soul train.

Member’s pre-sale is currently on now, and the general public tix go on sale this Friday, 16 September at 9am.
