The Creases have had a mega 2017 – and they’re extending the good times into the new year.
Twenty-seventeen saw the Brissy four-piece release Tremolow – their sophisticated debut 12-tracker of understated pop melodies, sparkling synths and tight rhythm sections that revealed an unwavering collection of addictive pop-rock. They also toured Australia playing some of their biggest venues to date, popped into triple j to throw down a flawless cover of a 90s favourite and broke some shit with us.
Now, the band have locked-in a little run of headline shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide this January along with a bunch of NSW shows in February and March – including some big festival slots at Falls Festival (Lorne) and Mountain Sounds (Central Coast). It’s a little bittersweet however, as The Creases also mentioned that “these are looking like our last shows for a while so grab your tickets while you can!”
