Straight-up, Ryan Adams thinks they’re “the best band in the world at this very moment”. That’s an accolade of pretty extraordinary weight and one that was awarded for reasonings you are soon to experience. And then savour. And then some.
The Nashville rockers have been making some fiery movements – they were just announced on the line-up for the 25th Annual Meredith Music Festival – and are ready to unleash their emotionally-fuelled, untameable, self-produced album Feels Like. Parallels can be drawn from the band’s name to their on-stage demeanour – absolute petals from the outside and explosive on the inside.
