Blondie To Release 11th Studio Record + Reveal Brand New Single

Ahead of their Aussie and NZ tour dates alongside Cyndi Lauper this April, Blondie have announced the upcoming release of brand new album Pollinator, the legends’ eleventh studio album. Today, they’ve revealed the lead single ‘Fun‘ to wrap your ears around.

Recorded in New York at The Magic Shop, known for being the birth place of Bowie’s last two records, Pollinator is a riot of sound and musical colour. The eleven track collection represents the exciting continuation of a forty plus year musical conversation that Blondie started in 1974.

Co-written by Fave Sitek, Blondie’s euphoric new track ‘Fun‘ is like a breath of fresh air and captures the unique combo of their enviable cool and sheer melodic joy. With producer John Congleton alongside the duo, Chris Stein and Debbie Harry have captured the sheer essence of one of the founders of punk rock.

Blondie are touring this April – find your tickets here. Pollinator is available May 5, you can pre-order it now.
