blink-182 Just Dropped A Brand New Banger And It’s Straight From The Halls Of High School

It’s been five years since we heard new music from blink-182, and it’s been 16 whole years since we were in the 90s but here we are.

The San Diego trio – who are arguably the most influential punk band of the 90s – have been drip feeding fans tiny little clues for the last few days suggesting new music, and today they’ve gone ahead and dropped a god damn banger and now they can just drop the mic.

It’s the first taste of new music from  the band, who now feature Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba, (replacing departed founder member Tom DeLonge), since 2011’s Neighbourhoods.

Bored To Death‘ was recorded with producer John Feldmann (member of the band Goldfinger and producer of Five Seconds Of Summer, All Time Low and more) and is lifted from their forthcoming 7th studio album, rumoured to be called California and slated to be released July 1, which you can pre-order now.

Brb, just re-pinning the posters in our bedroom.
