Ben Lee Names Oz Tour Supports

Ben Lee has named supports for his upcoming Australian tour, with Sahara Beck joining the decorated singer/songwriter at all nine dates.

Still just 19, the Brisbane-based Beck has two EPs to her name, and comes off an acclaimed performance at this year’s BIGSOUND.

Local supports have also been locked in, with moody pop duo boi&eSKae opening in Brisbane; Sunshine Coast singer/songwriter Mia Wray kicking things off in Melbourne; Sydney local Anabelle Kay warming the stage in her hometown; multi-talented one-man-show Banjo Jackson opening in Adelaide; and Perth’s own harmony-lovin’ duo Wanderlust doing the honours over West.

Ben Lee’s most recent album, Love is the Great Rebellion, sees him reunited with producer Brad Wood (Awake is the New Sleep) and features contributions from his wife Ione Skye, his five-year-old daughter Goldie and his father-in-law, ‘60s folk icon Donovan.

Tickets to his October tour are selling fast, with the Cronulla and both Newcastle shows sold out and all others close behind.
