Bad//Dreems Drop Album, Tour Details

Bad//Dreems will release their debut album, Dogs at Bay, on August 21, and armed with a bunch of new songs then kick off a national tour in their hometown of Adelaide on September 25.

The news comes accompanied by another new tune from said album, with the four-piece dropping the storming ‘Hiding to Nothing’. You can stream it above.

Dogs at Bay was recorded with legendary producer Mark Opitz (AC/DC, The Angels, INXS, Cold Chisel) and Colin Wynne, and also includes previous singles ‘Cuffed & Collared’ and ‘Dumb Ideas’.

“At its best it is an idyllic town, with a temperate climate and beautiful surrounds,” guitarist Alex Cameron says of the band’s hometown. “At its worst it is stiflingly conservative, inward looking and somewhat bereft of culture. The record is about growing up and living in Adelaide, as well as leaving and returning there. There’s nothing parochial about this though. It’s just what we know. I think the experiences are probably common to everyone who has a hometown.”

Support on the Dogs at Bay tour will come from Sydney band Green Buzzard, the latest signing to I OH YOU (DMA’s, Violent Soho). Check out their debut single ‘Zoo Fly’ here.
