UPDATE: Listen to Jet’s interview and live performance on ABC Radio with Myf Warhurst

They’re one of the greatest Australian rock bands of all time and it’s been 15 years since the release of their seminal 2003 debut album ‘Get Born’, so they have a lot to celebrate.

The Melbourne rockers have confirmed they’ll share Get Born: Live At The Forum – a never previously heard album recorded at Melbourne’s iconic Forum Theatre in 2004, now released via Mushroom’s new label for flagship bands, Bloodline.

The May release will include a 14 track digital and CD version, featuring two high octane covers: The Monkees’ ‘Sweet Young Thing’ and ‘That’s Alright Mama’. Vinyl fans can pre-order an exclusive, signed and numbered release featuring the 12 live originals including huge singles ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl‘, ‘Cold Hard Bitch‘, ‘Get Me Outta Here‘, ‘Look What You’ve Done‘ and ‘Rollover DJ‘.

Following the new live release, Jet – brothers Nic (vocals) and Chris Cester (drums), Cameron Muncey (guitar) and Mark Wilson (bass) – have also locked in a v exciting Get Re-Born national theatre tour in May and June. Since disbanding in 2012, they’ve reformed in 2016 to join the legendary Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band for all Victorian and NZ shows and perform a one-off (extremely rammed) show at Melbourne’s Gasometer Hotel. Frontman Nic Cester has dropped an ripping debut solo album via Bloodline.

Tickets on sale Monday, 19 March. You can pre-order Get Born: Live At The Forum now.
