Off the back of their much praised recent release Space Man Rodeo EP, today we’re stoked to announce that Green Buzzard will be hitting the road next month making their way down the east coast on the Space Man Rodeo Tour.
Following the release of Space Man Rodeo EP in March, Green Buzzard have stayed true to good form with lead singles ‘Do You Ever Glow?’ and ‘Dream In/Out’ receiving national radio support from triple j and community radio stations across the country as well as a slew of tastemaker blogs both locally and internationally.
Since first taking flight in late 2015 with debut 7 inch Zoo Fly/Slow It Down, Green Buzzard have been chipping away at their craft with a series of single and EP releases, which have earned them fans around the globe including Beats 1, FBi Radio, NME and The Clash among many others. This critical acclaim eventually flowed on to see Green Buzzard pick up festival slots at Splendour in the Grass and more recently Bad Friday, while also touring with acts such as DMA’S and Bad//Dreems.
Joining Green Buzzard in Sydney and Melbourne is Sydney love child of 50’s guitar pop and modern garage rock Sloan Peterson. Influenced by everyone from Elvis, to Latin legend Xavier Cugat, Sloan Peterson’s debut single ‘105’ has rightfully been enjoying heavy spins on the national youth broadcaster and all discerning radio stations around the country. Special guests in Brisbane are yet to be announced.
With the wind in their sails Green Buzzard will make their return to the live stage after some time off with Brisbane, Melbourne and hometown Sydney in the firing line this June for a series of exclusive headline shows. Hit em up!
