Soulwax Are Releasing A New Album Which Was Recorded In One-Take

FROM DEEWEE was recorded just three days ago and in a similar timely fashion, it will be released next month, Friday, March 24.

It’s been over eleven years since Soulwax, David and Stephen Dewaele (brothers/ 2ManyDJs) released original music – Nite Versions (2005) and E Talking (2005) and it’s been over 21 years since releasing their debut 2Nd Handsome Blues (1995).

The new 12-tracker features all new material from the Belgian electronic composers including ‘Transient Program For Drums And Machinery‘ which was dropped in November last year. After a period of extensive rehearsals and a meticulous level of planning, FROM DEEWEE was recorded with the band in one-take at the Dewaele brother’s Deewee Studio in Ghent, Belgium on Tuesday, 7 February.

“Based on the ‘Transient Program For Drums and Machinery’, which began touring in the summer of 2016, we set out to record these songs live with the exact same setup, machines and musicians as we had on the road,” say Stephen and David Dewaele of the recording process.

You can pre-order FROM DEEWEE now. Huge vibes.
