The Preatures Announce National Tour Surrounding Anticipated New Album

Fresh off the back of a sold-out show at the Sydney Opera House, Sydney alt-rockers The Preatures have announced some pretty big show dates surrounding the arrival of their forthcoming second studio full-length, Girlhood – slated for release Friday, 11 August.

The news comes after the release of the title track single last month, a powerful pop rock corker. The new 11-tracker is set to encapsulate a period of more than 18 months, following the v successful release of 2014’s debut LP, Blue Planet Eyes. To create an equally bang on successor, the band enlisted acclaimed producer Burke Reid (Courtney Barnett, Olympia, DMA’s), engineer Eric J Dubowsky (Flume, Nick Murphy) and heavy-weight LA-based mixing engineer Bob Clearmountain (David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, INXS, Divinyls, The Church).

You can pre-order the record now and watch the shiny new video for ‘Girlhood’.

All tickets to see The Preatures’ Girlhood Tour in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth this September go on sale next Friday, 9 June from 11am.
