Month Of Music: April 2017

This month sees us get a little cosy with a handful of exciting new artists and hypnotic voices, including Melbourne duo nyck and Canadian angel Lydia Ainsworth. British trio alt-J and local MCs Bliss n Eso continue to explore untouched soundscapes and individually, deliver their most progressive work to date. It’s a mega month of new music.

nyck – ‘Speak My Mind’
A beautifully melodic, melancholic and romantic exploration into love and life in the city.

Mark Seymour & The Undertow – ‘Throw Your Arms Around Me’

Reflecting on special moments growing up, taken from ‘Off The Grid’ album (out 28/4), touring May-Jul.

alt-J – ‘3WW’

Jon Stevens – ‘Starlight’
An instant classic with an unforgettable hook, taken from ‘Starlight’ album (out now).

AJR – ‘Weak’
Indie-pop trio’s new single is quickly on the rise, lifted from ‘What Everyone’s Thinking’ EP (out now).

Soulwax – ‘Missing Wires’
