Kiwi brothers Evermore were given a major international leg-up last year when P!nk invited them on her European tour. As a result the band scored record deals right across Europe where they’re about to release an album featuring singles from their previous three Australian releases as well as three new tracks.

The band wanted to make the songs available to Australian fans so are taking the opportunity to release a collection of their best work thus far. Evermore ‘EVERMORE’ hits stores on March 12 and features all the bands hit singles plus three new songs recorded especially for this compilation, including the new single “Underground”. A limited edition version will include a DVD filmed at London’s O2 Arena and documentary footage of the band travelling around Europe with P!nk.

“This is our very first album to come out in the UK and Europe so we wanted to put out the strongest possible collection of songs we've written. We've been playing in this band for ten years now believe it or not so there was a lot to choose from. It was a blast playing these songs all over Australia and Europe on tour with P!ink, so it's great to be able to release it at home and get the new songs out there. We also filmed the final show in London for a bonus DVD and cut it together with our own handycam adventures through Europe, so it's like you've been on a three month tour with us without leaving the comfort of your living room!” Singer and guitarist Jon Hume

Evermore spent the second half of 2009 supporting global superstar ‘P!nk’. They performed 40 shows to over 450,000 people across Australia. P!nk loved the band so much that she invited them to Europe to play as main support on another 40 stadium shows.

Still aged just 22 – 26 years, Evermore have been performing together as a band for 10 years and have achieved a remarkable level of success. Evermore ‘EVERMORE’ features 2009’s highest selling Australian single ‘Hey Boys & Girls’, the ARIA #1 ‘Light Surrounding You’, monster radio smashes ‘Running’, ‘For One Day’ and ‘Never Let You Go’ and ‘It’s Too Late’ which spent over 6 months in the ARIA top 40 in 2004.

The first single from the new album ‘UNDERGROUND’ hits radio this week and is reminiscent of 90’s pop acts such a Blur, Pulp and Supergrass with a modern electronic twist.
