Ed Sheeran Adds Four More Shows – Shatters Australasian Touring Record

Ed Sheeran has officially destroyed the Australasian record for the largest number of stadium shows on one single tour, taking his current huge sprint of 14-dates, to a mind-blowing 18-date stadium marathon across Australia and New Zealand.

This one man + his guitar + effect pedals sure can pull a crowd.

To put it into perspective, the announcement comes off the back of Ed selling more than 710,000 tickets by the conclusion of the first day of general public on-sale. The original seven announced stadium dates quickly increased to fourteen this week, equalling AC/DC’s 2010 record. Now, with the addition of four more stadium shows in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Dunedin, Ed Sheeran has taken the record to astronomical heights.

Ed has also set new records for the most stadium shows on one tour at Forsyth Barr in Dunedin with three shows and at Etihad in Melbourne with four shows.

New show dates below and Frontier Touring’s neat survival guide to ensure you’re not the 1% of the population who missed out. Pre-sale begins, Tuesday 30 May. General public on sale from Thursday, 1 June. Good luck!
