alt-J Lock-In Some Of Their Biggest Venues To Date This December

British art-electro troupe alt-J have confirmed their return to AUS + NZ this December, locking-in some of their biggest shows to date, including Melbourne’s iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Along for the ride will be LA-based legends Warpaint with their silky harmonies and seductive beats.

The tour will follow the release of alt-J’s v-anticipated forthcoming third record, RELAXERout in one week, (Friday, 2 June).

Having previously revealed their broody debut single ‘3WWW‘ and their brassy number ‘In Cold Blood’, the band have also revealed ‘Adeline’ – a slow burning resolution of hymnal-rock that was apparently set in Australia, where a Tasmanian devil falls in love with a woman as he watches her swim. It was written on tour and finished with some strings at Abbey Road.

Evidently, Relaxer was recorded all over London with producer Charlie Andrew and album #3 will prove to be the band’s most dynamic release to date – a true post-guitar group for the new-pop generation.

Exclusive pre-sale tickets will be available via Frontier Touring, Thursday, 1 June. General release will go on sale Tuesday, 6 June. It’s a legendary combo.
